Privacy Policy
This site uses no profiling cookies and no tracking or analytics tools. It collects personal data only when you send a request for a workshop.
Information provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1.Data controller
Scuola di Ashtanga Yoga — Associazione Professionale, Via Annia 54, 00184 Rome, Italy. Email: astangayoga [at] libero.it.
2.Data processed and purposes
Browsing data. Like any website, the systems that run it record some technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, needed to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. It is not used to identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Workshop requests. Through the request form we collect the data you enter: email, first and last name of the participants, any notes and, for some workshops only, level of practice, days of attendance, country of origin and, for residential courses abroad, the passport number required by the venue. We use it only to answer the request and organise the workshop. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Email. If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply.
3.Whether you must provide data
Providing data is optional, but without what the form asks for we cannot handle the request. If you list other participants, please let them know.
4.Recipients
The data is not sold, disclosed or used for marketing. It is processed on our behalf, as processors (Art. 28), by providers of technical services: the site’s hosting and database, the form’s anti-spam check and email delivery. Some of these providers are based outside the European Union: transfers rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses (Articles 45–46 GDPR). The current list of providers is available on request.
5.Retention
Browsing data is deleted after a short time. Requests are kept for as long as needed to organise the workshop and for the school’s records; you can ask for them to be erased at any time.
6.Cookies
The site uses no profiling or analytics cookies, which is why there is no banner. The only technical exception is the anti-spam check on the request form, which is needed to send it and requires no consent.
7.Your rights
You may at any time ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, or object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
