Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute

How it began
Lino studied with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois for two decades and received from him the licence to teach internationally. He opened the Ashtanga Yoga School in Rome in 2000.
After Guruji died in 2009, preserving what he had taught became more urgent. In 2010 Lino founded the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute inside the school, keeping the name Sri K. Pattabhi Jois had given his own school in Mysore.
What it does
The institute runs daily classes through the week and holds workshops and seminars during the year. Students who want to go further can join the intensive courses, where the Ashtanga system is studied in the traditional method.
Students who complete that path may become participating members of the institute and its schools.
