Privacy Policy
This site collects no personal data on its own. There are no cookies, no tracking scripts and no third-party content.
Who is responsible
The controller of the data described here is Scuola di Ashtanga Yoga — Associazione Professionale, Via Annia 54, 00184 Rome, Italy.
For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights listed below, write to astangayoga [at] libero.it.
What the site collects
Nothing directly. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no account and no comment section. The pages are static files, and the fonts are served from this same domain, so loading a page sends no request to any other company.
The hosting provider, Cloudflare, records the technical data any web server records to deliver a page and to protect the service from abuse: IP address, time of request, page requested, browser and operating system. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf under Article 28 of the GDPR, and it is kept only for the short period their service retains logs.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure, under Article 6(1)(f).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Nothing is written to your browser storage, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If visitor statistics are added later they will be collected without cookies and without any identifier that can be traced back to a person, and this page will say so.
If you write to us
When you send an email to the address above, we receive your address and whatever the message contains. We use it to answer you and we keep it for as long as the correspondence is useful, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) and (f).
Registration for the Kovalam intensive is handled on astanga.it, the site of the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute. That form is covered by the privacy policy of that site, not by this one.
Links to other sites
This policy covers this website only. The schools, teachers and organisations linked from these pages run their own sites, with their own policies.
Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR you may ask for access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to the address above and we will answer within one month.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully you may complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
